Here at Autovaux Car Parts we always try to make sure you get the right part first time, but we know there are times when you need to return the item. If you’re unhappy with your goods for any reason, you can return it to us at address below with your order invoice, please leave a note on invoice and highlight the items you are returning.

This does not affect your cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, for further information please refer to our terms and conditions.
We’re happy to offer a refund on unused items within 60 days of the original purchase. If the item is faulty, we can offer a refund or an exchange where available subject to warranty terms and conditions. You can return your item free of charge by dropping it off at our Dewsbury Trade Counter, at a cost by courier or by post to our Dewsbury Trade Counter, depending on how you received your order. Please note you will only be refunded purchase price of the item excluding outward delivery charges.

RETURN OPTIONS
There are lots of ways to return your unwanted or damaged parts to us, look below to find the best choice for you or give one of our Web Team a call and they should be able to help you.
If you're local the quickest way to return an unwanted or damaged part is by brining it to our trade counter located in sunny Dewsbury, just make sure you come in with your original invoice or order confirmation email, and of course the part you’d like to return.

- Any products returned must not be devalued, should be in a re-saleable condition and include the documentation and original packaging.
- The store team will inspect the product before we can issue a refund.
Return unwanted products
If you no longer need your product we can arrange your postage for you, we will have to charge you for the carriage which will vary on the size of the product you're returning. You can find our delivery costs here for reference, or give our Web Team a call to find out more.
- Any product returned must not be fitted to a vehicle or used in another way, this will be determined by our Returns Department.

Return faulty or damaged product
If the product you received was faulty, we'll arrange a pick-up service or a Royal Mail label free of charge, and even organise a replacement if you want us to.

Return any products
If you want to arrange the return yourself that's completly fine, you'll just need to follow the guidelines laid out in the section below. If you're really unsure you can always call our Web Team who can guide you through it, or arrange collection for you if the part was faulty or damaged.
- You (the customer) will be responsible for all the postage costs for the products you're returning, unless this has been specifically agreed in advance with our Web Team.
- Autovaux Car Parts will not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of goods during transit you have arranged, please make sure that insurance cover option is taken where possible.
- Please include your original order number, which you can find on the order confirmation email you received after placing the order.
- Please include the product code, quantity, and the reason for your return. You can add a slip of paper with it written on, this makes it alot easier for us to process your return.
- Make sure you send your return to: Autovaux , Shawcross House, Horace Waller VC Parade, Shawcross Business Park, Dewsbury, WF12 7RF.
- Make sure you keep proof of your postage until after we’ve confirmed your refund. We recommend you use a reputable postage method to make sure the items are returned without damage and are insured.
- Once we receive your returns, all the products will be inspected and at our discretion, a refund may be refused.

Please note, any product that has been fitted to a vehicle or used in a similar way will not be refunded, unless the reason for return is that the part itself is faulty. This will be decided at our discretion during our inspection of the part.

SPECIAL RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
Some orders are more complicated than others, we know that. So in this section we've cleared up some common questions on cancellations, special returns and warranty items. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, or you still have more questions you can always give us a call during our open hours or send us an email and we'd be happy to help any way we can.
Certain products are treated specially for legal and health reasons, it’s important for your own and couriers safety that these rules are followed. You can always contact our Web Team if you’re unsure if your product falls under this procedure.
Products that require special delivery requirements include: Batteries, Shock Absorbers, Engine Oil, Screen Wash, most products with liquid components.
If you let us know quickly enough, we should be able to cancel your order depending on the product and the delivery service you selected. Unfortunately we are unable to amend the details of your order once it’s been submitted.
If there is important information missing from your delivery address, we might be able to pass this on to the courier prior to them delivering the parcel, so long as you give us enough notice.
Home Delivery
Once your order has been received and handed over to the courier, we won’t be able to cancel it. However if you get in touch with our Web Team quickly enough, we should be able to cancel it and organise a refund. The best way to get in touch is by giving us a call, make sure you have your order number to hand as this will speed up the process.
Store Collection
If you’re collecting from our Trade Counters, you should be able to cancel the order. Just give us a call and we can get the process started.
Some of our products come with a manufacturers warranty which protects the part for faults and damages during it's use. If you order a part that comes with an extended warranty, like our Meyle HD Water Pumps or Anti Roll Bar Drop Links, and you find your part has become faulty during it's use you can contact us to look into your warranty claim. You can find more details on warranty terms and conditions under warranty claims section.
If you return your part under warranty , we'll handle it from there and speak directly with the manufacturer to make sure your issue is taken care of. The manufacturer will normally take the part for inspection and if they find a fault with the part, they can either offer you a replacement part or a refund (this varies by supplier).
